Dash air conditioner problems. need drier

Hello, I have a 2005 Safari Cheetah 40' I bought a month ago, guy said everything worked, including the dash air. I drove the safari 10 hours to get home, no air. generator wouldn't start either, so no air, and it was in the high 90's.
Any way I started checking the dash air out, no pressure in the system, checked the Freon lines, and I found a leak at the drier, receiver, the drier is from china, the number on the drier isn't a good number any more. parts store can't find any part # to match my drier. I can't find any drier # to cross reference the number. I think my drier lines are 15 mm in and out. I have search for several hours on line. I live in a small town in Mo. not many options for air service stores. a couple aid guys, but I'm sure they would run into the same problem that I'm running into, no parts #. Can anyone lead me in the right direction to find air conditioner parts for safari, or motorhome dash air parts? I'm not for sure but I think safari ordered the driers from china, at one of them sited where you can buy hundred of parts for a little price, then the part is no longer available.(my thoughts aren't always right). Thanks for any help someone can help me with.

Do you see the name Evans/Tempcon anywhere on the dash system housing?
Are your dash controls vacuum operated?

Just replaced my compressor and receiver/dryer/accumulator and after several cross references came up with an A/C Delco #, for the dryer. .

Here are the web sites of the most popular MH dash A/C systems

Evans Tempcon > Page Not Found

HVAC Systems | DENSO Heavy Duty

The Evans site says page not found , but it works , use the "support "drop box and then "service parts".

If your having such a hard time finding the AC parts, do you have a trade school near by that teaches automotive AC maintenance, if so maybe they can figure out what you need or suggest a replacement. Maybe a phone call to the nearest school will help. Good luck I hope you find what your looking for.

I buy mine from NAPA or Ryder Truck Parts.

I suspect driers are not significantly unique if you can replicate size and connections. But the I am no expert......

I would take the dryer to a Napa auto parts or similar parts place and get a similar size one to replace your old one most use the same size refrigerant fittings. Some have a fitting on them for the pressure switch also. The dryer is nothing special just a desiccant . It doesn’t matter if it has a sight glass or not I haven’t seen a sight glass that functioned with 134 any way.

Can you get the ID measurement from your current drier connections to start matching against the connectors of offered driers online?

Evans Tempcon > Our Products

Most of our coaches were built with Evans Tempcon parts - but a Receiver-Drier is very standard component. You should have no trouble getting one based on inlet/outlet hose sizes (i.e. #8 fittings) and the diameter of the unit.

Some people just need to chill. Which, of course is all you are trying to do by getting your ac working. If you could put a picture of your drier on here along with some measurements I may be able to help you locate one.
