Is it low on refrigerant, there is a low pressure relay that controls the compressor! Does it accept the new type of refrigerant, if it does just get a can and inject into system.

It is the new refrigerant we pumped the system down and recharged it and fixed any leaks still could not get it to run

Could be the high pressure switch. If not equipped with high pressure switch it will have a compressor cut out switch as my 08 safari has. Mine went bad and the a/c wouldn't work.

Simple problem but may be difficult to fix.

You need a wiring diagram so you csn check voltages.

It is simple at high level.

You have the ac fan switch that may be input to a processor board or not.

It then goes towards the clutch via high and low pressure switches.

Do not leave any switch bypassed as they are there for a reason.

Until you get a wiring diagram you are wasting time.

You need to troubleshoot the control system.

If it is an Evans system you also (probably) have a thermostat that is in the series circuit. it is on the back of housing under the hood with a thermocouple running into the plenum. it's called a thermostat but really functions as a freeze detector. The coiled thing is the thermocouple ... it's a metal tube.

Have you run a jumper wire from the AC compressor fuse (or where ever there is 12v power) to the compressor ?

If compressor clutch will not then engage, could be your compressor clutch has failed.

We used a jump box and the compressor works fine

I used it to get the oil flowing for the last 6 months to keep the compressor exercised

If compressor works and the gas is full then simple control problem.

The pressure switches are closed in happy condition so follow lines from compressor and look for things with 3 wires attached sticking off the lines.
