dash message

My dash has red warning light on, - HYD OIL [in red]

1. I checked resivoir - it is full
2. slides retract and extend

Is it safe to drive with this light on??

Welcome to the forum, Mr. Ed.

Can you give us some information about your coach ...make, model, year, chassis, engine, etc.?

The reason I ask is that the warning light, if on the main instrument cluster, may not be for the slides.

For instance, some chassis will have a "hyd oil" or some other similarly lettered warning lamp for the power steering and/or sometimes the radiator fan if hydraulic should the reservoir be low on fluid. The slides will usually have a separate reservoir.
