Dashboard vibrations

I have a 2008 Fleetwood Southwind 32v that I purchased last January. It's
maiden voyage was a four month journey from Florida to Alaska. On decent roads there was little problem, however on rough roads or highway
construction, the dashboard would vibrate violently. It knocked out the backup camera. Anyone with similar issues or corrective suggestions?

Here's a link to a Bounder Owner who tackled this issue.

I had an older Allegro that had the same problem. You will probably find that the dash is not very solidly attached to the walls of the RV at the ends. I had to add a little bit of lumber to mine and also make a wood spacer, but it really was not that difficult to correct. You can probably locate the weak or lacking attaching points by laying under the dash and have someone either sit on the dash on & off or strike it to make it bounce. It is not an uncommon issue.

Glad to have you here with us. The two previous posts were good ideas.

That was a heck of a maiden voyage! I hope all went smoothly and that was the only issue.

Happy Trails!!!
