After reading about the steering wander on the Monaco forum I'm thinking do I want a Monaco or HR.

Evidence of the coach having been smoked in (cigarette/cigar) as well as any water damage. Both would be deal breakers IMO.

What happens if you're in a gravel parking lot?

Take your time. Get on the roof and start from there. AC unit plastic covers in good shape. Condition of roof. Chalking and glass checking on the sides. High generator hours indicate lots of permanent living. Cabinets with big gaps to the walls. Most of all carry your poker face when you are looking.
