Tim (Beerlover80),

The 2015 model floor plan was named 37MD...the 2016 similar floorplan is the 37RB.
Your letter specifically lists the finishes and the only options available on that model...that's good.
But, the bug screen was not available on the 2015 model.

If you do the e-mail batch, I expect 2 types of replies:
Dealers will reply to you in non-specific terms seeking to get you to call them to discuss the deal.
Or, other dealers will just ignore the e-mail as it does not give them room to wheel/deal.

It is an interesting idea that is available in the car buying world, but RV's? Probably won't work as desired...even MHSRV will make final concessions only after verbal communication (then you fly-in to close the deal).

Agreeing on a purchase price doesn't have to be in-person, because it is a new RV, but I expect at least a phone convo is needed to get the best price. That's how they work in price matching and also when they try to sell stuff like extended warranties or diamond shield Be careful with these items

Best luck

I agree about MHSRV purchase, I called an talked to Bob Brake, told him how much I could afford and the RV I saw that he had for sale. After a little conversation he said fly in we will pick you up at the airport. We did that his employee was there to pick us up. We me Bob at the dealership the transaction went great. When we got home found a problem with the HWH jacks, call talked to Bob he told me to get them fixed and have the repair shop send him the bill. If I get ready to trade up he will be the first one I call.

I agree with Scarab0088 and those who are saying that you will get those two scenarios when making initial contact by email. 100% of the time that I have initiated an inquiry by email (for RVs, cars, etc.), the response --if there is a response at all-- is something like this:

"Hi Beerlover, please give me a call at 555-123-4567 so we can discuss this further. I'm sure we can accommodate your needs and get you in the coach you desire. regards, Joe Schmoe, sales department."

Even though most dealerships might encourage email correspondence on their website, in reality, they must really hate it and know it is unproductive. They want to talk to you over the phone if not being able to see you in person. They realize that people are doing exactly as being described here in sending the exact email to multiple dealerships in an attempt to pit one against the other and they don't want to play the game in that fashion.

Like I mentioned, 100% of the time where I initiated an email inquiry to any dealership about wanting to purchase a specific RV, car, etc. or had general questions about their inventory/products offered, etc., they either 1) asked me to contact them by phone, or 2) ...and this is what happens most often it seems, do not respond back at all.
