DEF fault code

I have a Winnebago Meridian 2012. Cummins 340D engine.
Every time I filled up with DEF(wall mart) I am getting an amber check engine light. This will reset it self after 50 miles and we good until the next refill. The code "poor DEF". Last week the amber check light did not go out and with the next start up the red engine light came on and degraded to 5 miles/hr. Road side assistance reset all codes and we were back on the road with no more issues. any assistance into this matter will be highly appreciated. Thx

First off, Welcome to IRV2!
There have been reports of some DEF issues that have turned out to be loose or corroded connections on the DEF heater/pump/sensor head. With the Poor DEF code coming up, it sounds like a sensor issue. In some instances the DEF head had to be replaced.

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

My engine doesn't need DEF so can't help with that.

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!
