Define Motor Coach
Ok what I am asking is this booking a motor coach resort what is a motor coach.
Is it a Diesel pusher only or a gas class a ok. I have an Entegra 38h is that considered a Motor coach

Defined by whom? The USDOT/NHTSA have definitions, individual states have definitions. The RV industry has customary definitions. I'm guessing the latter is more useful.
A unitary vehicle on a motor vehicle chassis designed to transport passengers in seats, with sleeping, food and sanitary facilities. It is not towed by another vehicle.
Beyond that a coach can be Class A (bus-like), Class B (van-type conversion without an over-cab bunk), or Class C (cutaway van or truck chassis {super C}) with an over-cab bunk or storage compartment.
Many RV "resorts" are Class A only, and a fair number limit use (or lot ownership) to units no more than 10 years old, although that seems to be flexible if your older coach is in very good condition (pictures help).

Mine is a 40 ft Dutch Star Spartan/Cummins and I do NOT consider it to be a motorcoach. A motorcoach to me is like a 45 ft luxury high scale $700K and up unit.
THere might not be an official definition?

Solo RV Guy nailed it, I think. Absent any further description, a motorcoach is any motorized RV (i.e. not a towable), whether gas or diesel, pusher or puller. Probably most places with that stipulation will state "Class A motorcoach", eliminating Class B & C as well..

Depends on your frame of mind...
Bless his pea-pickin little heart, my DH is humble and gets embarrassed when I call our 41 foot diesel Coachmen Sportscoach a "Coach". He would rather say "Camper" when referring to it.  I get to show him this thread and tell him I am NOT putting on airs!

The RV industry kinda took on the name "Motorcoach" , The word "Coach" date's back to the cowboy day's..........Most likely Grayhound defined the word Motorcoach in their long transportation history......... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coach_(bus)

So, can we then agree that trailers are not vehicles, ergo, they are not "recreational vehicles"? [emoji3]

We call ours "The Bus" even though it is not a bus or on a bus chassis. Don't sweat the details.

My Winnebago manual calls it a "coach" and it has a motor.

The only right answer is to call the "resort" and ask, one "class A" only resort I ran across while researching our Yellowstone trip, had a rule of no coaches under 35 ft in length, so that excludes any number of shorter diesel pushers, as well as almost all gas class A's.

I suppose we can all quote competing interweb sites that disagree with the definition of what a "vehicle" is and end up back where we started.
Ask a hundred people if this is a "vehicle", what do you expect the response to be?

In 2000 RVIA changed the classification of RV's and removed "Class" and substituted "Type". So, if you're still using class you're 19 years behind the industry designation.
