dewinterizing problem

COACH: 2002 REXALL REXAIR.
CAN NOT GET THE ONBOARD WATER TANK TO FILL UP I have tried everything I know and have had no luck. I will pump water with the pump on and the outside fill water tank on. If I turn the water off from the house faucet it will slowly quit pumping the pump make a noize for most ot the time however. The pump quits as the water quit flowing.

look on the back of the water heater tank for a diverter valve.

So if I read this correct your water tank won't fill up? Or is it your hot water heater? If it is your water tank and you don't have a gravity fill intake then you have a value that needs to be turned on somewhere near the water tank. Look in your bays where your water tank hookup is and you should have a value. If it's your hot water tank that won't fill up then you have a cold water intake valve that must be turned on, and a hot water outtake valve that must be turned on, and a bypass value that must be closed.
I hope this helps.

My old coach was a Rexall Arebus with no gravity fill. Instead it had a diverter hand valve next to the city water hook up. Turned one way would fill the tank , turn the it other way and your on city water.

It was an extra valve on the passenger side. After I closed it the darn thing filled as it should.
Thanks to all.
