Diamond battery

I purchased a Diamond battery two years ago for my Chevy chassis. The battery would not hold a charge recently so I went back to dealer for an adjustment. Dealer no longer sells that brand so I did a search to find a dealer in south Georgia. Unsuccessful so did a web search as well with almost same results. I don't know if the manufacture is going out of business or what but it isn't practical for me to drive 100 miles to get warranty service so I purchased another brand from a Auto parts Chain. My suggestion to anyone is to stay away from this brand of battery for your MH. The original battery was purchased from a RV dealer/shop but they made no effort to help other than a 800 number. I called the number and learned it was in Flint Michigan which was of no use to me. The Auto Parts store told me they would honor the warranty even if they dripped the brand I purchased. I'm a slow learner but finding RV dealers are not as interested in helping a customer as they are in profit. Going forward I plan on doing some leg work before making any purchase for my 2nd MH.
