Diamond Shield Damage

We have a 2008 Phaeton that was built in July 2007. I think it has diamond sheild on the front. Purchased RV from original owner last year. Still looks shinny and nice. The DS only had a few nicks in it. Just had a crazy wind storm here a few days ago while we were away and stupidly left a welcome sign hanging from the side mirror. The sign bumped repeatedly against the RV leaving many little scratches on the diamond sheild. Does anyone know of any magic trick to rub out the nicks rather than removing the whole thing or do I just have to live with it?

Yeah, you'll have to live with it. As long as it's just scratches you'll probably be alright. If it went all the way through well then you better seal it or you'll get the dreaded mold, and once that starts there's no stopping it. I know from experience. And no easy job getting it off along with the adhesive.
