Yes, that is what Cummins told me. B2 required.

Two questions ...... Have you found an issue with the availability of finding B2? / Is the program with Good Sam and Pilot Flying J as good as it gets for fuel discounts ...... thanks for any insight/comments...... Pat

Here is Cummins published spec sheet on the X15:

I believe there is something getting lost in the translation. I detest bio diesel but I'm confident that Cummins wouldn't bring an engine with such a requirement to market. No trucking company would buy it.

Are you sure that the B2 is not a minimum requirement? The link above specifically states "up to B20".
As stated above I can't image Cummins putting out an OTR engine not capable of running on the most available fuel.

Thanks for the info on the engine.
Just off ph w/Cummins: .... this gentleman read a service bulletin that states "up to B20 acceptable". Must use ultra low sulfer ..... <15 ppm. Makes sense to me.
Thanms once again for your help!

Agreed. Read thru more info than a chemist would read co cerning fuel. Ultra low sulfer fuel (<15ppm) and up to B20 seems acceptable.
Ur right ...... crazy ..... liked Patsy Clines' version .......

In my engine manual from 2000, my ISC was able to use up to B20 back then before it came out on the market.......Cummins looks way ahead..........
