Diesel Mechanic in Redding CA
I'm in Redding CA and I need the alternator checked/replaced on my 05 Alpine Coach, 400 Cummins. I'm looking for a recommendation of a good shop, independent or mobil diesel mechanic. Quality work is the important thing, not cost. Of course I'd like to get on my way as soon as possible. It's always better to post here before going to the yellow pages!!!
Hurry!!!! The wives are sightseeing in the CASINO
Thanks, Terry

You got more problems than an alternator, your not from Utah are you?
If you can make it to Sacramento, I have heard very good things about Sacramento Truck Center

Check out All Wheel on Old Oasis Road. I used them a few years ago to diagnose an electrical problem but they work on all RV related stuff too. They have excellent reviews on RV Service Reviews and Yelp.

Shes gonna win a new MH as soon as she's done winning a car. Looks like I needn't worry
I have an apt tomorrow morn at 8 with All Wheel Truck and RV. Came highly recommended on two forums, plus it's a local family owned shop.
Thanks for all of the speedy responses, I'll let you know how it goes.
Terry

Hello Terry, there is a Cummins Pacific, 5125 Caterpillar Rd, Redding, CA 96003, 530-244-6898.
The Alpine uses a Leece-Neville, Duvac, Model A0012824LC, 160 Amp 14 Volts, Sales # 2824LC.
I have had good luck with Cummins here in So Cal. I do not about the Redding shop.
Good luck, keep us informed on your repairs.
