Thanks,
I will check it out and let you know.

Thanks for the great info.
From what I see and his wife and son have said guy that owned it (passed away) took very good care of it, and reminds me of my father, who preached preventive maintenance to me my whole life, and saved every manual, receipt, scrape of paper..... The even have the repair and maintenance manuals from Caterpillar. That's the first thing my dad would do when bought a vehicle was get all the factory service manuals, and I'm the same way.

If it drives as well as they say pretty sure we will be driving it home this afternoon.

Thanks all,
Mike

Mike,
I believe they are like any other RV, car, etc. Some people like them, some people don't. That's just the nature of the beast. I like the layout and the fact that it is a 1 owner and I don't have to drive 400 miles to look at it.
The HR is a very nice looking RV. My neighbor has a gas HR that hasn't moved for than 100 miles in 4 yrs, but won't sell.
Great advice from all on this site. I don't post much, but do lurk alot. Good luck with your purchase. I will be following this thread til the end.

Bob

That looks just my 2000. I bought from a dealer in Tucson Oct 2011. Drove it straight home to Cleveland. My only issue, when I remodeled and pulled up carpet, the floor under both driver and pass side windows rotted about 8" out. The 6-8 inches of wall above was also. It was impossible to che k for me, but had I got down by the floor and poked with pen next to seat by floor I would've noticed.

I would not let that stop me from buying it. It would just be a good negotiating tool. I have had no other issues. Like another poster said, this is a common problem in older coaches.

If it's called a 38WDS why did the ad say it was 35'?

Is it 35 or 38 feet long?

Nice rig, NICE price
