Table and chairs for us, makes it seem much more open and our table slides in and out depending how many people there are. We leave our chairs out with no restraint and never had a problem.

We prefer the booth. I think the seating is more comfortable plus we have the option of another sleeping space if ever needed.

Dinette: extra seating and seat belts for grandchildren. No need to stow or secure chairs. Makes into a bed for grandchildren. (previously same applied to children).
Happy Trails.

Booth for us. We looked at the options, Std booth, upgraded booth, Credenza. While I agree the credenza and chairs might give a bit more openness feel and maybe more room ( not sure what you do with it, maybe yoga. ) The upgraded booth is what we like because it is more comfortable to sit in for longer, table to hold computer, papers, maps, and generally more comfortable for those morning coffee times, plus the kiddo can move around in it while under way and have all sorts of things out on the table. The upgrade is all covered and padded and like most have said has the large drawers under each bench. It does have the extra bed available, although you better be short LOL. We have the drop down overhead bunk in the drivers area and I just about wouldn't even consider a coach without one, kids or not.

Good luck on your decision

We are not full timers which may make a difference. We like the booth because of the extra storage space, and because it makes into a bed just in case.

Best of luck with the choice.

Table and chairs here. I had a booth and it was not as comfortable as chairs. Easy to swap chairs you might want too. Booth is very heavy so it saves weight too. I have more than enough storage space albeit it might be under the coach and not inside.
I have space for guests in a drop down bed over the front seats.
I actually sold my booth benches that came with the current rv.

I agree. Have been in MHs with dinettes and they are not for me. I have table and chairs. If it's only the two of us he spares are in the back closet makes the salon appear bigger. I was at an RV show and saw a guy with a bit of a gut, unable to get in the seat of a dinette.

Table and chairs for us. Neither of us care for a booth, even in a restaurant. Seems the table and chairs is a bit more versatile. I do wish ours had the buffet or credenza, but it's strictly the table with one leaf that stores under the tabletop. For sleepovers, we have a sofa with a queen air mattress, so no need for add'l sleeping area.

Dining table or Dinette arrangement?

With the dining table, the chairs are removable but have to be tied down during transit while the dinette is fixed and have the seat belts for seating during transit.

Space wise, the dining table may yield a little room than space took with the dinette since the table can not be folded or slide in deep enough to gain more space. Granted, depending on the model, some dining table made look like for 4 persons, but in reality, it would only fit 2 "trimmed" persons. However, some floor plan on the large coach may have larger dinette set.

So, the question is: What do you have in your coach vs. what you do preferred and why?

Hope that I could learn from your experiences. I am aiming to see if I could choose my "Last Coach First".

Per your posts, you are on quite a quest!
If you get the "Last Coach First", please make sure it REALLY fits your requirements.
We thought we were happy with a 33. Actually, we were, and fulltimers! But size overruled.
We had booths in 3 smaller rigs. They fit the need with kids and then grands. But, like Cliff noted, the chairs don't move in transit. The fold-out queen sofa fits the sleep needs, and bigger came with more than nuff storage.
Go with what fits long term if you want the Last one First. A suggestion.
Best wishes and Happy Trails

Table and chairs for us. As a bigger guy - I hate booth seating. I having to slide in and out of 'em. I hate feeling "squeezed" into the booth. I have not being able to push back from the table. I hate being forced to face straight ahead.

In my case - the dining table also serves as my desk when working (I work from my coach). I replaced the straight backed / marginally padded / not designed for a work day's worth of sitting dining room chair with a decent office chair and am happy as can be. That would NOT have been possible with a booth.
