Dish Tailgater

I am trying to install a dish tailgater on my Bounder Classic 2011. I do not have a satellite connection just a cable connection. I see the box that divides all the signals and there is 1 cable free and not connected. What is that? Can I connect the satellite to the cable connection outside?

The tailgater must be connected to a VIP 211k receiver.

Tailgater

I have been able to install the tailgater on my 2011 Bounder Classic through the switchbox in the RV. I found these instructions on www.azrvsatellitetv.com Look at the back for the Coax connected to it labeled "From Cable". Remove it and attach it to the back of your Satellite Receiver labeled "Satellite In" . Then take a short coax cable and go from "Out to TV" on the receiver to back of the "Switched Box" where you removed the "from Cable" Coax. Then, when you select Aux or Cable you willbe able to receive the signal from the Dish to the Receiver and then to your TV.

The Tailgater receives its power from the receiver. I believe that the only receievr that will work with it is the 211K. The power is supplied throught he cable so it must be RG6.
