Looks like most of this thread has given some sound recommendations to go for the second A/C unit. I fully concur and have had RVs with one 15k ducted unit and some with two 15k units/15 K and 13K. Depends on your size rig and your heat tolerance, but in our experience one A/C just doesn't do the job. Go for the second unit....you will be more comfortable. Plus, it is some form of enhancement of your coach vaue. Good luck and stay cool.

Just came back from a weekend trip to Sanger, CA. It was humid with a high of 102 degrees F. With four people, two dogs and people occasionally leaving and entering the coach, the two AC units were able to maintain 73 degrees in the bedroom and 76 degrees in the main area. Glad I had two AC's!
