The day we looked at our coach it was idling. My 7 year old said "dad it sounds like there's a monster under your bed!!!" I said "There is you want to see it!!" So I lifted the bed and showed her the engine. I has since been dubbed "the monster"

Being a Lord Peter Wimsey fan, the Dutch Star is called Talboys after their summer home.

We call our Dutch Star the Irish Star, because we’re not Dutch

The Coach. Our previous coach was a Beaver. I still love the Beavers and love to tell Beaver owners, especially the wife that they have a beautiful Beaver.

Lenoir, my daughters choice. It’s not sticking with me.

My grandmas name was Bertha. I know people associate that with being overweight. I don’t want my MH to be sad and think she is fat. When I can sit down with her and go over the family tree with her so she understands it’s a fine family name. She can’t help that she is big boned.

Nothing worse than having an upset motorhome. All kinds of things break.
I give her a big hug when we get home and thank her for getting us there and not trying to kill the squishy pink things riding inside.
So for now she is Lenoir.

And yes for those slightly concerned. Yes I am being silly but those that truly understand the symbiotic relationship totally get it.

"Moses" To get to our house, we have to drive for about 3 miles on blacktop, NARROW road. When we come over the hill, cars get off the road, heck, even the UPS truck has been known to stop, and back up into a convenient driveway to let us though. She parts the water . . . Hence Moses!

Sounds like our house. We call it over the river and through the woods. The road is steep, is uphill both ways and winds back and fourth. Backing up is not an option. If our neighbor is around they will QB for us and block the road so we can get through the steep wooded area. We do the same for them and their 5th wheel.
