Do you know when Pilot switched to winter fuel in Indiana?

This is my first diesel and I am learning a lot.

I filled up the diesel before storage on 9/29 in Pendleton, IN at Pilot (Northeast of Indianapolis)

Do you think this would be a seasonally blended fuel by then?

I've got a separate thread about additives etc, so I just need the answer to this question above.

It's supposed to get very cold early next week, but we were planning to leave then to head to Texas.

Trust me, put in your own winter additive. Even in the middle of winter, you can't depend on getting winterized fuel. I deliver diesel fuel and there are still some trucks loading fuel even now in Dec-Jan and not winterizing it. Buy a bottle of additive and add it yourself when you fuel up. WalMart has it, about $12 to winterize 300 gal.

It would likely NOT be winter blend until about late November as far as I remember. My first husband drove truck for many years and he always asked at the time of fill up during the late fall/early winter months. Winter blend, as stated earlier, can be hit or miss. It normally doesn't get cold enough here for winter fuel until mid December at least, but these days there's no such thing as 'normal' weather here.

Yep, here in Minnesota it is usually the last half of November when they start the Winter blend. Buy the additive, it's waaaaay cheaper than dealing with being jelled.

Got a response today from Pilot. They said they start adding additives to the fuel once the air temp hits 15

I stored mine at about the same time and left last week. One thing I had to do to get started was plug in the block heater.
