I have a similar problem but i am directly connected. The voice prompt comes on and says "Turn" and then silence. I tried all the suggested fixes but no dice, it's very annoying.

I was going to buy the RV version but not until they fix it.

Save by street address is a strange way of doing it if you have a bunch of places in the same town.
After you pick a stop, you can add it to Favorites, Then when you go to add a stop, Select My Places, under Favorites, click on Edit in the upper right corner. Then the list of Favorites will be displayed, click on one and edit it.

When I have to enter Stops using Address because the Park isn't in the POI database, I set the Address Stop as a Favorites, then edit it as the Park Name, and select it for the Route. Delete the Address Stop after the Favorite is there.

I have the RV version that I've used for three long trips to different parts of the country and have not experienced this problem.

The speech truncation issue only happens when the audio is being transferred to another device through Bluetooth or, in my case, through an AppleTV.

Hey Dale, The naming worked great but when I go to Address and delete something, what I deleted is still there! I thought I was doing something wrong but CoPilot asks are you sure you want to delete and I click yes. I don't know what else to do and the address is not part of my favorite file.

Any ideas?

Address stops are remembered only for the time of the Route. You just need to delete the Address Stop from the Route and it will go away.

I'm sorry Dale, this is all new to me and I don't see an address STOP or where to find it?

When you set up a route, it is made up of Stops and Via Point. Stops are where you expect to stop. Via Point are places you want to go through without stopping. This is how you adjust the route.

You can select Stops from an Address where you enter a Zip or City name, street name and then street number. That is an Address Stop.

Or you can pick a Stop from one of your Favorites, that you have added along the way.

Or you can pick a Stip fro a POI (Points Of Interest) from the database that CoPilot has. You can also use a Google search but I have never used that.

You can pick Your Current Location.

You can pick from your Contacts.

Or you can venture onto the Map and find your intended stop. The Android version seems to start near where you are. The PC version starts out nowhere near where you are.

And finally you can enter the Lat and Lon coordinates.

So if you can't find your destination in the POIs, then use the address to the location and enter it in the Address option. After you put the destination you desired on the Route Map, then click on it and make it a Favorite. Then add a new stop using Favorites, pick Edit on Favorites, select the address you just added, change the name. Then exit out of Edit, click on the Favorite you just renamed, and click on it. The Favorite will be added to the Route Map. Now click on the Address Stop you first put in and Delete it

I could live with that, but mine seems not to be able to remember house numbers.

Maybe someone can help me with an issue I'm having with CoPilot RV running the IOS app. The search does not seem to work correctly or should I say the Google search doesn't work. I go to "Find POI's" Then select "Google" If I type a house #, street and zip (i.e. 111 Main st 90210) it does not find anything. Even if I put in the city and state it will not pull up any results. I was looking for the flight 93 Memorial it does not find it (even Wikipedia doesn't find it). The search is useless. If you mistype a word it will not suggest anything. and if you want to add a word to the search field or correct a typo there no way to put the cursor where you want it. The cursor doesn't show up or if it does, it is so faint that you can't see it.

Is anyone else having a the same issue with the search or is just me?

This is very quirky. Go to POIs and Select Google. On the Google Search page, select Search Nearby. Enter the name or Zip of the city. When you select a city from the list, you will be returned to the CoPilot Google Search page. Now put in what you are looking for in the Search box.

I found this out by going to Support page for CoPilot at CoPilot Support..

I think this is a really yukky way of doing things but it does work.

Thanks for the info. So if you don't know the city of a stop you need to google it get the city to get the zip code then go back and search that city.

Your right not the smoothest way but, at least you can get the location.

For the cost of the app and that they have been doing it for years for professional truck drivers and not a start up or home based business (maybe it is). They should have the app running smoother

The addition of the Google and other searches is a rather new feature of CoPilot.

I guess I would have to compare it to how you would do it on a Garmin. Oh you can't do it on the Garmin

Thank you Dale, I added a stop and now I can't get rid of the initial address or the stop!

I'll be trying out Copilot on the open road next week. But I must say that the way it handles deletes is one of the most Ham & Egg deals I've seen in many years. In the final analysis a GPS is a database with a video front end. In every software product that offers the ability to delete, you press the delete button and the item is gone! No special science, no secret code just proper programmer coding. That I've spent two days and still cannot delete an address is poor programing to the max!!!

Any on going business should have fixed it a long time ago and that they haven't begs the question "what's wrong with this company"? This could be fixed in 10 minutes and that they haven't tells us more than we need to know!

I expect a learning curve with something new to me, but that I set up an address and press a button that says delete and its still there? That's insane! An on going business builds a User Friendly product and listens to its customer base, making changes as needed and quickly. Not build a product for passive aggressive's and then smile as their user base yells beat me beat me!

I know, why don't I just say how I really fee.!!!
