The first 2 years we were traveling around and living in our coach from Oct to May we used Uber, public transportation, rental cars, our bikes, etc. It all worked good and there were virtually no issues with any of those methods except convenience. In Feb 2018 I found a Wrangler to use as a toad. My wife was plenty happy with Uber, rentals, etc and wasn’t real excited about buying and pulling a toad. Within about 2 weeks of having the Wrangler she likes having our own vehicle where ever we go.

We still use uber and rent on occasion but having our own wheels has been very nice for the last year.

We’ve recently used Uber and Enterprise. Both worked out well. I’m guessing Uber depends on your location of how many drivers are available. We were in Ft Walton Beach til this morning. I think longest wait for Uber was around 10 minutes due to traffic. I like that no money changes hands with Uber.
