When growing up we had a dishwasher but my mom made us wash them in soap and water first😳then put them in the dishwasher, later had to come back and put them away. To me it was easier to just wash, rinse and put them away. Just like SpaceNorman our kids are gone and my wife mostly does the dishes, sometimes she uses the dishwasher sometimes not. We don't have one in the mh and doesn't want one when we order our new one in Dec. We both agree it is strictly for sterilizing as we both have never been able to break the habit of washing with soap first.lol

A little off topic but how does your Roomba work Ken? We had one of the original ones and while it was a novelty, it worked so-so. The dog tried many times to kill it too.
