My philosophy was to get one that I could
A. afford
B. learn some of the finer points of RV's
C. make some basic repairs on to get the sense of how some of the systems work
So I bought an older, gasser and I can say I have learned a whole lot.
1. That I really like RV'ing
2. That I enjoy the systems and more importantly the tinkering and maintenance
3. That I want to move up to something a tad bigger with diesel and the ability to haul a toad.
I won't do it for awhile yet as my DW and I still don't have as much time as we would like to enjoy the one we have but when the time comes, we will be upgrading.
