Thanks, I'll check the local stores, there's three within a 6 miles radius of home.

I just ordered the Dynamat. Looking forward to install and hearing the difference.
Does anyone have any tips on best way to install under the doghouse?
What's the best way to remove the doghouse after the holding clips are un done without any damage?
G man

Be sure to report back with your results on installation and then the test drive concerning sound levels!

I used FATMAT . Cheaper version of Dynomat. Buy it on Ebay. Worked great. I cut it in 6" strips and rolled it on. Press it good with a roller.

I recent ordered this to go inside the dog house area. This is specifically designed for engine compartments such as boats. Watch/listen to sound demo test at the bottom. Something like this should be installed at factory when it would be easy to reach instead of having to retrofit in very tight quarters. I probably will then put a dynamat or fat max type down on floor under carpet, then some sound proof foam for padding then new carpet.

That looks good, but it's not available in CA. I use to buy something similar from JC Whitney many years ago, had a layer of lead between the foam. They don't carry it anymore.

I just redid a bunch on my generator using dynamat and Bquiet over some of it. Dropped the sound level in half on the passenger side. Less on the drivers side but the exhaust contributes a bunch when you standing right in line with it.

Do you have an Onan "quiet diesel" generator? If so did you apply the sound shield directly to the generator housing or around the generator? I'm very interested in reducing generator noise both inside and outside of the coach... Pictures of any and all installations would be great.
Thanks, Brian.

We recently did this and drove 1300 miles to Florida. It made a big difference in motor noise and the amount of heat. It was high 90's driving through most of the south and the doghouse and floors around it were nice and cool. The last time we traveled down it was 104 in the Carolina's and the ac could not keep it cool inside. No problem this time.
