Asides from locking the steering wheel in the center, the caster and camber are not set correctly for a sable tow in reverse. The front alignment is set for going forward and the steering should return to center in the normal direction.
To see effect of caster, look at the front wheel on a bicycle. push it forward and see how the bike behaves. now try to control to control it backwards with no hands.....
If you plan to lock it only with the steering wheel lock at the ignition, this will put serious stress on the locking pin and possibly damage it tot he point you can to get it to release. You have to use a cord and tie the wheel off for center.
