Hey. Does anyone own a national dolphin lx? We are looking at some 2002's and was wondering if anyone had any good or Negative input. It would be helpful !
Even if the comment were on newer or older models would be greatly Appreciated ! 😄🚎🚍

We've got a 2005 Dolphin, thought not the LX model. LX just has a few more bells and whistles. Well built motohome in my personal opinion. We've had ours for 2 years and aside from the toilet developing a leak and needing a new flush valve and vacuum breaker it's been trouble free over about 4000 miles of travel and use. I wouldn't hesitate to own another one.

We had a 2002 Dolphin LX for 5 years. Drove it about 50k miles, including a summer in Alaska. Had a number of initial (delivery) quality problems (mostly minor but MANY of them) and it took about 8 months, including a factory visit, to get them all squared away, but after that it was a solid coach. Our only ongoing complaint was that the bedroom was cold and damp in chilly weather. Metal parts in the bedroom actually rusted!

We thought it was a pretty good coach - it was reliable and good looking and performed well overall. MPG was high 7's to 8.0 and performance was decent for a gas engine rig. The Workhorse chassis with 8.1L V8 and Allison 5 sped made a great combo. I think it is as good as any in its class and better than many.

That said, in 2002's I would also be looking at a Monaco La Palma or Itasca Suncruiser. Both nice rigs with good reputations.
