Dometic awning repairs
I have a Dometic Weather Pro awning that needs new fabric and a new tube. The ship that has done our work for years shot us a quote of $2400. I was sort of shocked as last year I got a $600 quote for the fabric only. I have replaced an awning tube before that was within 2’ of the length of this one and it only cost about $400. The labor is
Only about $200 and freight about $100. Both quite reasonable. Any aftermarket options that might be cheaper. The awning is useable as is, but if left out in rain it sometimes pools water on one edge where the fabric is stretched. The awning doesn’t dump properly and will fold up if it gets too much weight on it. Not a good situation.
