Dometic Comfort Control Center System
I have a 03 Dutchstar. We were operating the front A/C unit when the unit stopped working and the CCC was going blank and not showing all the functions of Zone 1 or Zone 2 units. We replaced the CCC and now the front AC works fine but nothing on the bedroom unit will work. We have reset the CCC and still nothing. I called a RV repair and they said that Zone 2 needed to be set up. I can't find any directions on how to do this. Right now, the CCC shows every mode available for Zone 2 but nothing will come on - not even the fan. Any help?

The only dip switches that I know of are in the air conditioning unit itself. Why would those change if all we did was replace the CCC? There are no dip switches on the thermostat that we could see. Thanks.

There is nothing to set in the CCC. The most likely cause is lost communication between rooftop unit 1 and unit 2 or poor communication between unit 1 and CCC (or both) . Depending on your units, you will most likely need to go on the roof, remove the big cover, locate the control board, locate the communication cables (look like telco), unplug and examine for corrosion, replug and try units .... repeat for all units.

In the " Files " drop box ; in the blue bar just to the right of your " User CP " go to the heating and cooling section and download the " Duo Therm CCC " pdf with the troubleshooting guide.

Yes ----dip switches are in the control box
Need to do a system reset
System Reset
After setting the dip switches in the electronic control, do a system reset.
a. Reconnect the 12 VDC and 120 VAC power supplies.
b. Make sure the CCC 2 thermostat is in the OFF mode.
c. Simultaneously press the MODE and ZONE buttons. The LCD will display “IniT” and all available zones.
d. Release the MODE and ZONE buttons.
e. Press the ON/OFF button to exit system set up.
f. When a dip switch is turned on after initial con-figuration, a system reset will need to be done before the CCC 2 thermostat will recognize the updated selection.
System Checkout
Verify that all features of the installed system work. See CCC 2 thermostat Operating Instructions or User’s Guide. Check fan speeds, cooling mode, heat pump mode, and furnace mode (if connected).
If the features do not work disconnect the 12 VDC and 120 VAC power supplies and verify that all wiring is correct and that the correct dip switches have been turned on.
DIP SWITCHES
1) Ext. Stage.OFF
2) zone 2-----------------------------ON
3) zone 3.....OFF
4) zone 4.....OFF
5) Stage ....OFF
6) Heat Strip--------------------------ON (if equipped)
7) Heat Pump------------------------ON (if equipped)
8) Furnace----------------------------ON
9) Dehumidify....OFF
10) Gen Start....OFF
