Dometic Duo-therm 630035.321 Heat Hump won't Turn On

I have a Dometic Duo-therm 630035.321 heat pump that's acting up.

There are two units in our rig.

The front unit is fine, the rear unit will not turn on. When I set it to any functions Cool, Heat Or fan only, you can hear the click but it won't start running.I checked the main breaker and the 3 amp fuse in the unit itself and still just the click and nothing happen?

Anyone had this issue?

Hi Scepter1,
There is a start and run capacitor in each unit. They are located under a metal cover. Have you checked the capacitors? Not always, but most of the time, looking at the capacitors the will look burnt/melted a bit if bad.

Scepter1......I have the same model in my coach. Mine had a bad reversing valve and the heat pump would run when the A/C was on. With that said, I went to PPL Motors part site RV Parts and Accessories for Sale - PPL Motor Homes and they have a section that breaks down your particular model with a parts list. I bought the reversing valve and the start and run capacitors (one was burnt) and replaced everything . It now works fine.

For me, it was worth replacing a couple of parts to see if I could fix the unit without taking it in for repair or buying a new one.
