Dometic Refrigerator Repair

has anyone installed a dometic eyebrow control panel to the top of the refrigerator? The wiring appears pretty straight forward except for a black wire that attaches to a ground at the back of the refrigerator itself. I do have pics if anyone can help.

On my Dometic RM2708 the connections all plug in at the eyebrow.
