Dometic weather pro power awning intermitant

During retracting the awning it would stop and we would have to wait a minute and then it would go in again and then stop. Reading one site that said this was normal because the motor was weak. I had my awning material replaced and the mechanic said my wind sensor was bad. After replacing the sensor and the control it now goes in without stopping.

I have the same awning, I notice that when I use the remote it will pause. I thought it was. Battery issue or a line of site? I guess the remote is Radio Frequency? I never experience any delay or stoppage while using the main button? Just wondering about your situation, how did the troubles begin?

The awning was doing this since we bought it used. I read on sites that this was normal. I would have never known it was bad if I didn't change the awning material. Many people with this awning said the motor was under powered. Ours did this with the remote, the controls in the rv and the control box in the storage bay.
