I have talked about getting a tent for some time but I afraid that it would be a waste of money because we would not get the Grandkids to use it :-)

Grandkids go "Camping" (tent & air mattress) with Mom and Dad and "Glamping" ("Glamour Camping", as our children call it) with Nana & Bapa!

Our pups won't sleep in the pup tent...

And if I actually came back with one...I'd be sleeping in it.

My grands love it. Roughing it is fun for them. Setting up their own fort! Their own campfire; cooking on it.
They thrive on the challenge and the independance and being required to improvise and innovate. Was the same for their mom. Was the same for me.
Just the way we grew up, I guess.

Oh, I remember when my brother and I had our tent while our parents stayed in the VW camper. We did think it great at the time...

Times are a changing...

The other item that I wish I did not have in my motorhome is the furnace located in the bedroom area. Everytime it comes on, it wakes us up. a poor design by Winnebago.
