When we had the S&B we had things we wanted to change and some things we did end changing. The RV is the same way. This is our house and no house is exactly perfect with everything exactly the way we want it nor will it stay that way since we do change as we get older. This is why we modify them to fit us and that is why it is an ongoing project for as long as we will have the RV/house.
There are lots of posts on modifications so why not a post about things you don't want in your house? Maybe someone can come up with an idea on how or what to change to make it the way you want or maybe point you in the direction to get it changed? Maybe it's another way for people to exchange ideas on stuff?

Quite similar in our older Endeavor ... things that have been removed:
Old satellite dish, old sound system, all carpet, all fabric valances, all built-in TVs. Of the things removed we have replaced with: oak valances, oak flooring, one standalone widescreen dvd player/tv ... and we read a lot. Oh .... we have a BIRD but it is disabled via a switch. And there is no salesman switch.

You'll care if you have a BIRD when it burns out the isolator relay which also happens to be the relay that ties the batteries together when you engage the Aux Start .... you know ... the one you hoped would allow you to start the engine.

Yup, yet another reason to carry jumper cables.
One thing I don't have and would never have is a floorplan that doesn't allow the full use of the bed without the slides extended. To me, one of he best features of a MH is the ability to pull off the road for a quick nap in the luxury of a real bed.

Yes yes yes I prayer for you and myself. My wife is awaiting a liver transplant. Our MH gives me a place to live while she is in the hospital.

Yup ... and long ones. Didja ever notice how the toad is always at the wrong end of the RV when the chassis bats go flat?

Betcha got a BIRD but may be called something else - whether ya know it or not. Battery control box - something in there is taking care of ya beside those salesman's solenoids that might be mounted in the vicinity. Pretty sure you have the 6kw diesel generator and everything is neatly tucked away and tied together in safe and effective manner. This may be a case of having what ya need and don't know it vs not needing what ya don't have. Lol.

I had a run of stink bugs too! I have looked and looked to see how they are getting in with no luck...
