IMHO, Charlie's simply elegant solution could take less than a half day
at about a tenth the cost of my suction cup monster! Lol!

I just hate drilling holes into my baby...

I looked in the Winnebago Forum on here and couldn't find it doing a search, but someone came along a couple of years ago with a door stop. It mounts to the front fender about a foot above the bottom of the front door and another stop was added to the door. My BIL did the mod and it works well. I just can't find it in a search....but it was a good solution.

I don't like drilling extra holes either, thanks!

Charles, I bet I could do that to mine on the 82. Its a drag to have to go out side to close the door @ night. I could do like you did. I think it would work. I think you better get a patten on that. Can I get a parts list also? Please
Thanks, Tim

Charles, thanks for this idea for a door stop. I have been trying to come up with something that would work on my MH for quite some time. Not sure if I am tall enough to mount on top of door, but will be checking next time I visit MH. And that will be this coming Monday. Again, thanks all for these great ideas.

I think Charlies idea is great. My solution was to purchase the door stop from 3T'sRV.com. I don't have a pic but, they do on their website. This will keep the door from hyperextending when the wind is coming from the rear; I use a bungy cord(tacky) from the mirror to the door latch when wind is coming from the front.
