Door lock

Went to check MH unlocked door and handle does nothing you can hear it unlock. Any suggestions how to get in short of busting out a window. 2007 revolution.

I'd guess a lock smith might be cheaper than the window

Cut the striker bolt.. NO.. but I have managed to depress it from outside with only minor damage.

Go to the auto store and get a set of picks. The kind used to pick out rear seals and such (There is a hooked one and a "L" shaped one and that's the one you want)

These are Picks in the mini-ice pick description, NOT lockpicks.

I was able to sneak the L shaped one in and by a combination of workign the pick and pulling on the door while I repositioned the pick, depress the striker bolt

IF it is a tri-mark, odds are the bolt is broken inside the lock.

A machinest can carve you one out of genuine steel that will outlast you.

My stricker bolt doesn't move it's like a car door. The dead bolt works it goes in and out and it sounds like the handle lock is moving but the door handle does nothing.

Had the same problem on my previous motorhome a holiday rambler. Locksmith came out could not get in ended up drilling and cutting trimark lock, had to replace lock. Good Luck , I leave drivers side window unlock now.

There is a door lock recall. Don't know if this has anything to do with it.

Maybe you can put enough pressure on the window to only break the window lock. My grandkids have broken several os those for me. Cheaper than a window.

Take a look on page 2 and 3 of this link. Might help you get in where you can get to the lock.
