Door Porch Light

rvledlites | Changing your light, one LED at a time!

This is the best front door porch lite ever. The guy that designed this was the one that originally designed and built the Star Lite 1000. He sold that company and designed and built this porch lite. The owners of the campground I am staying in talk about it and I am going to install one for one of the women in the campground so she can have better light at night when she comes in. If you have ever seen the starlight 1000 with a LED bulb in it the difference is like moon versus the sun. It is so much brighter than my old 1156 bulb ever thought about being. The light only comes on at night and is motion activated. You can use it as a regular light by turning it off then back on this deactivates the motion sensor. To use it as a motion sensor again just turn it off then immediately back on. Every motor home should have one of these.

I converted our "scare" lights in the '02 Dutch Star to 48 LED panels, boy were they bright. Converted the porch light to a 24 light LED panel. Much brighter than the old 1295 bulbs which were much brighter then the 1156 bulbs.
