Downsizing 14 Phaeton to Via or Breeze

My wife and I currently have a 2014 Tiffin Phaeton QBH which we love. But, we are now thinking of downsizing to a Winnebago Via or a Tiffin Breeze. We would like your feedback on the Via vs. the Breeze. It seems obvious that the transition from the Phaeton to the Breeze would be easier, but one of our reasons for downsizing is so that we can now go some places that would be uncomfortable driving a 40ft. diesel pusher (ie. California Coast Highway.) It seems like the Mercedes Sprinter chassis would be easier driving. Thoughts?

I'm having those exact same feelings this week and initially thought about the Class Bs, but then went back to the Class C Supers for a more comfortable living space.

I want to stay with a diesel engine, since we only bought our first one last year--we had a 36' class A gasser for 10 years.

I need to look further at the Class Bs and the Sprinter Tiffin Breeze. And I would like something built before 2008 and DEF requirements.

Traveling the Calif coast is fine in a 40ft if your doing S. Calif up to S.F., north of S.F. On hwy 1 I wouldn't want to drive any rv on it. Drove a class c on it 30 years ago, would never do it with a 40ft.

I just went through tis process. I was deciding between updating my coach vs getting a Via. I found out that I could not pull my Jeep Rubicon with the Via even though the hitch is rated at 5000 pounds. The weight of the Jeep put us way over the GCWR. In the end, we were giving up too much to downsize to a Via.
