dripping dashboard a/c

Hello, I have a 2008 Georgetown with a Ford chassis. Water drips from the junction box where the hoses for the dashboard vents connect to the a/c. Is this a common problem or is there a hose blocked?

Not sure about the 2008 but my 1996 has a drain tube at the bottom of the A/C box where the condensation runs out. Maybe if you have one on yours it might be blocked?

Several years ago, had a unit that did the same thing. Turned out that box under the dash where the chilled air came off the AC coil, was in direct contact with the humid air inside the coach. So what to do...went to auto upholstery shop, purchased a small quantity of that heavy cotton batting they use for sound deadening, some spray adhesive. After a bit of custom cutting, fitting, gluing...the project was deemed a success. NO MORE DRIPS!
Since the water dripping was ice cold, and falling in DW's feet, and, was now not, we instantly became happy campers!

Right on. 95% of the time we found dirt daubers had stopped up the drain hose. A straightened clothes hanger works well for this.
