Not bothered by passing trucks. Can feel box trucks on occasion but it is a gentle push. Wind isn't an issue unless it is a gusting side wind over 30 mph.

Safe travels. JD

I think it really depends on a few factors and those factors can be very specific to the RV in question.

In our first 39' Winnebago gasser any crosswind over 20 MPH was a real pain in the butt. Transitioned from that to our first 43' DSDP and I was in heaven. Now I have a 43 DSDP with comfort drive and it is that much nicer.

Here are some factors that I consider.

1. Fatigue level. If I'm getting tired I'm more likely to take a break from winds that I normally find acceptable.

2. Road conditions. Ice and snow are obvious issues. However, a wet road or low visibility situations will make me consider taking a break.

3. Terrain. In some cases there might be lots of posted wind warning signs in mountainous areas. If weather indicates these will be especially problematic then I will factor that in.

4. Other factors. If I start seeing cars and truck in the ditch...time to take a break.

Obviously, the trick is to see these factors in advance so you can find a safe place to take a break. Also, income cases you just need to delay travel until conditions pass on. "Gotta get there itis" is deadly to too many people.

Cross winds over 20 mph effect everyone. Don't be kidded. Our high profile vehicles are prone to tipovers. Hills, bridges, trucks, and trees can cause sudden unexpected gusts.
We try to leave early or late to avoid inclement weather.

I have a 2008 Itasca Latitude UFO with Koni shocks and steering stabilizer and it handle 20mph cross winds fine, an occasional gust does rock it a small bit. Stronger than 20mph I slow down.

‘06 Mandalay on the Freightliner XC-R IFS chassis.

No problems with 30 mph crosswinds, trucks passing, etc. No suspension upgrades...all stock.

F-53, no problems with cross wind or passing vehicles. Night time driving is more of a challenge then winds.

Drive like the wind, or with the wind or something

Update for the OP:
My shocks are original. No idea what I would replace them with when the time comes. Will check out Konis.
Lots of complaints and threads about bad road conditions. They don’t bother me yet.
My 09 Camelot is very stable and heavy. If it’s a 30mph side wind and much traffic, we will take a break just to give the road to folks that make involuntary lane changes.
I give much credit to my tag axle

I voted "other" because I didn't see an option for me.
We have a gas Ford F53 chassis, 18K.
With the relatively inexpensive modifications I've made, wind isn't the issue it used to be - at least at the wind speeds posted above.

Now, earlier this year I was fighting a constant 35 mph crosswind between Lubbock and Amarillo. It was wearing me out, and I slowed to 55 for most of it. The big and unplanned surprise was getting broadsided by a dust devil wider than our coach is long. I never knew how much energy is packed in one of those rascals. Needless to say, I now have a newfound respect for them when I see them on an intersecting course. I was only about 6 inches from leaving the highway and hitting the rough! It felt like we had just been T-boned by a mid-sized car.

Modifications:

CHF
Polyurethane sway bar bushings
Rear track bar
Front SumoSprings
New Gabrial Gas-matic RV shock absorbers
Blue Ox TruCenter

Planned: rear SumoSprings.
