. Have the same problem. took shade down and inside is a small motor that has very small wires connected. wires break very easily. Checked with Carefree of Colorado, they only sell parts to their dealers. Dealer sells replacement shades. ring around the rosy!! Sizes of newer replacement shades too long for my space. At this point I am at a standstill till I can get to a large city that may have a better solution.

Did you try to reprogram the shade? If not take a look in the top end of the roller. Mine is in the right there are two buttons. One is black for the sun shade and one white for the privacy shade. If you hold that button down while activating the switch you will hear three beeps. Release the button and run the shade to the bottom and then to the top. Also if you google the manufacture of the shade and reprogram you will get detailed instructions.
If that doesn't work I have had the wire come off the buttons before so check that and of coarse fuses as mentioned before. I have also had to replace both motors. It seems my dog likes to sit on the switch when we are gone. She burned out both motors. We now keep them covered. Click image for larger version

Most of that type of shade have replaceable motors. It's a motor that looks like a stick of dynamite. It slides into the end of the tube. Very simple to replace. The motors are available on line and run 80-100 dollars.

My shades have a reset button. they pop out about 16th of an inch can reset with ball point pen. look for small hole on the bottom near the end of the shade.
I have used the reset about 3 times in 10 years I have no idea what cause them to trip
