We owned a 1998 Monaco Dynasty from 2000 to 2005 when we traded it on a new Allegro Bus. I can say that Monaco makes a very nice coach with excellent cabinets and furniture coverings. I think the Monaco is a much higher end coach that the National.

An update, we looked at the Tropi-cal last Saturday. The roof had leaks, the tires need replacement, the slide toppers were bad and the power awning did not work. Also the rear fiberglass had been damaged---bottom line, no go. Before we left for the lake to look at that coach I had hired a truck center to look at the Monaco, I trusted Frank and took him on his word that he would make contact with the owner and do the pre-buy. I have a dog with Cancer and we had our first treatment when we got back yesterday so I did not call Frank, I thought it funny he did not call me as the pre-buy was to take place that day. When I called him he told me he had called and left a message with the owner and had not had a return call, however when I called the owner he really let loose and said he had cleared his schedule and not heard a peep=--he was quite pissed and said he would give me a 1/2hour to look over the coach and he was done messing around. The coach is 41/2 hours away and now I guess I have to drive up there if I want the chance to buy it. What a mess, why cant people do what they say and stop the lying ? I have to see how my dog is doing before I make the trip, she is my priority now as they are our "Kids" Mike N Cindy.
