Drop down bed for two?

Are there any Class A RVs besides the Fleetwood Excursion with either a double/full or a queen size drop down bed over the cab? Many of the ones we've seen are single size beds and would not suit our needs, and I don't want the bed to drop down over the living space like the Treck does.

Several Thor products do have a larger bed that drops down over the driver and co-pilot area.

Coachmen Mirada and Jayco Precept have nice can over drop down beds that have excellent capacity. Consider lighting, netting and light switch placement when shopping the different options.

Not sure if you are only looking at DP. The FW Bounder has a 60x80 Queen drop down (Hid-a-loft) bed with air mattress that is pretty comfy (from what others tell me, I have not personally slept on it)

I don't suppose there are any older (10+ years) models with it? Ideally we'd like to customize the inside to suit our tastes, so spending less would be preferred. Just looking around at our options at this point

The original Trek by Safari had a drop down bed. This models have a very loyal owner base.

Here's one of the Trek's with the "magic bed" I think.

2007 Safari trek 27ft with Low miles like new

Here's a video of a "magic bed".

Thor Hurricane has a 54" X 74" drop down bed, not sure if it would be considered a queen or just a double.

That would be considered Full Size.

My Fleetwood Storm has a queen drop down (hide-a-loft they call it) above the cab. 500lb weight rated I think.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone! Would it be possible to have one installed if I decide to purchase an RV without one?

It's looks like you want something really specific. I would look for the coach that you like and then have the bed added. Anything can be done if you have enough money. I think a nice aluminum framed bed could be installed on electric lifts.

A little imagination and it could be made to look nice. Remove all of the front and side cabinets in the cab, make a nice wood frame to cover the underside of the bed and add shorter cabinets underneath the bed that would still be functional when the bed is up.

Haha well we do have a pretty small budget, but if we find a great deal on something it's good to know we have the option to add a bed where we want it!
