Question Dryer vent

I'm installing a W/D the coach is prepped except for a dryer vent.

I see the chrome (and other) thru the wall type, but rather not do that.

What about a roof vent?

Any suggestions

You will have far less problems with the side vent VS the roof vent, and as far as I know dryer vents do not ever go vertical......always horizontal.......
Any Coach's that I have ever seen has a side vent.

RV dryers do not have the high volume fans like a residential unit does. The most direct method of venting with the least amount of bends is the best to minimize lint accumulation. RV manufactures put the vents right behind the dryer for this reason.

I forgot to mention I'm using a Whirlpool unit, not the typical Splendi

Don't matter what you are installing, even at home......does your dryer vent go through your roof? I have Kenmore's in my Coach......side vent.

My home does go thru the roof, yes.

What type of side vent are you thinking about the one that looks like a clam shell?

First time in my life I have ever heard of this vertical installation. I would suggest taking it apart as so to look and see if it is full of lint.....fire hazard. A horizontal vent needs cleaned often enough let alone going vertical. A Entegra owner is asking right now about how to clean his screen on the clam shell without taking it a part, sounds like it is just about plugged off.....Be patient....the best part starts about half way through the movie http://search.yahoo.com/search;_ylt=...20house%20roof
(vented through house roof)
