Our MH is set up with 2 TVs. One in the front and a smaller one in the bedroom. We have a VCR in the system.
When our grandkids travel with us, they want to watch a moive from the VCR.I often want to go in the bedroom and watch TV. However, when the VCR is running, both TVs get the movie.
What am I doing wrong?

Grumpy,
I don't know how yours is setup, but all I have seen have a switcher unit for the front & rear tv's. You select what you want to watch on each tv separately

I'm thinking it could be a cable wiring goof up at the back of the switch box. Antenna feed in from the roof should go into the switch box first, not the VCR. (?)

Ditto! You should have a video switch. Chances are front and rear both are set to VCR. Change front source by pressing one of the other options. Should be cabinet with your VCR.

That said, you (Grumpy9)never stated what kind of Rig you have so can only assume. In that you had discussed replacing tires in another thread I assume it's an older RV so not sure if this applies or not. The TVs may be mirrored meaning both watch same source. Should be able to watch different sources but not sure if your rig has a video switch or not, only guessing at this point..

Regards,

Hi Grumpy,
Like previously posted, there needs to be a distribution box somewhere in the coach. If you do not have this, you'll need to make that purchase. An example of a distribution box is at Video Distribution Switch
Please let us know if we are heading you in the right direction.

Gary, Thank you, I think that you have solved my problem, except for the installation. Are you free, this week. LOL.

Hi Grumpy and thanks for the thanks. If what you need is DVD, VCR and Off Air TV (antenna) you're on the right path. However, if you want to include Satellite TV having both TVs watch a different channel, that will take an additional part or two. It is a bit long to explain, unless you need it, so if you do need it post here or PM me.
