Dvd stuck in drawer

We have a new Coachmen Mirada. The dvd player is installed and so is the tv. The drawer is stuck and won't open. We can't get to the back of the tv to unplug. Anyone know how to access the back of the tv and/or remove the dvd player? Any ideas on how to open the drawer?

I can't help you with getting the player out of its cubby but I suspect there's an access panel in there somewhere, or the face frame of the cabinetry unscrews. If you can get the player out, gently turn it upside down and all around (you can dance while you're doing it) to see if the DVD will settle in its tray for removal.

Why do you have to unplug the DVD player from the TV,, Can't you unplug the TV from the DVD player, Normally they have jacks on the back of the DVD player.

Good luck getting it unstuck.

There is usually a small hole usually just under the drawer, Straighten a paper clip and insert in hole, this should force the drawer open, do not have power to the dvd player (Unplug, turn off breaker, kill inverter whatever) before doing this.

Thanks. My husband finally pried the door open with a butter knife and got the dvd out. The entire drawer came out. Then he unplugged the shore power cord and the player turned off. When he plugged it back in, he replaced the drawer and all is well again.

Most cd/dvd's have a little hole next to the slot. You put the tip of a paper clip in the hole and it opens up.

You need to look for that hole... Normally the drawer LOCKS when it's closed, stickicking the old straightened out paper clip in the hole releases the latch.

And most times a little force is needed when using the paper clip, not much but enough.
