dynamat and glue

going to redo cab area. and going to install dynamat on floor . can i glue the carpet down on top the dynamat ? with contact cement

Don't see why not. As I recall it has a skinned finish on the non sticky side. A spray adhesive, like 3M, should stick to it.

But, to be safe, call Dynamat and ask the question to them. After the work to install, would not be good to have it degrade!

We did the full floor and doors of our 07 F150. Really quieted the ride, and the door speaker location supported our Focal's very well with this deadening. Was a bit 'off' sound wise before we added the Dynamat.

Upholstery shop used 3M spray adhesive over Dynamat when they carpeted my street rod. Worked fine.

You might want to check Summit Racing Equipment website. I used their brand sound deadener with good results and spent less money...
