Dynasty TV Electrical Gremlins

I have a 2009 Monaco Dynasty with the TV that retracts into the ceiling. The problem is that without warning the TV will just go up into the ceiling. One time it took a cabinet door out. In addition to the erratic going up into the ceiling, the "TV Up" or "TV Down" switch will not function for days sometimes. Sometimes if I flip the breaker on and off the thing will work normally for a while. I also have gotten the TV down button to function by flipping the ignition on and off a few times but it never lasts. I've spent probably a thousand dollars on repair people and no one can figure it out. I would appreciate any ideas for solving this problem that has now gone on for about 5 years

Has any technicians changed out the controller? Have they shielded the controller to prevent RFsignals from interfering with it? A simple inline swith to the motor should prevent accidental energizinga s well.

Thank you! I will check the controller and consider an inline switch to the motor.

Check the switched outlet that the unit plugs into. Should be above the drivers seat. It's switched so that it can't be used when the engine is running. My unit wasn't working correctly until I ran an extension cord to a different outlet. I replaced the outlet with a non switched type. Works great now.
