Ebay bounder

As part of my research into buying a class A, I see Ebay has a 2005 bounder 39Z " in mint condition". Further reading suggests just about every appliance has been replaced and the entire coach has been recaulked. 5 years and 27000 miles and it requires this much spending on it? Is this normal or an "over the top" owner? I also see there are no bids on it. Just curious.

The recaulking is probably about right for this age of motorhome. Having to have all new appliances leads me to believe someone lived in it pretty much full time time. Probably the biggest reason for no bids is it is probably worth in the neighborhood of $75K and as long as fuel is high its value is probably dropping more every day.

Don't believe the "mint condition" adjectives, until you see it for yourself.

Maybe it was parked next to the Mississippi River.

Sounds like it may have been hit by lightning or a low/ high voltage situation.

I'd be concerned about the all appliances replaced thing. Like Cliff, that could indicate a surge incident in the past. I'd try to find out the history there.

There is great need for a sarcasm font.

As usual from you guys some interesting and informative posts. Thanks. It was just that the numbers didn't add up but I couldn't work out the reason. To spend $10000 on a coach you are trying to sell seemed rather generous to me. Not to mention the possibility of a new scam.
