Put some Chinese tires on my previous 2004 35 sightseer. Road VERY hard. Saved 500.00 but not worth the loss in ride

Someone commented that the Chinese made Sampsons reputedly ride rough. My 07 DP had new Sampsons on the steers when i bought it last fall. I was going to replace them right away, but decided that I would try them out since they were new. After about 5000 miles they are fine and i don't think they ride rough, but i don't have experience with other tires on this coach. I plan to keep them another year, when I will replace all 6.

Good timing on comments about Samsons (along with ddev's on page 1)--

After calling all over hells creation for tire prices, I decided to call a store that I can walk to in 5 minutes...

The have Sampsons, 275-70's for $329 each, and they'll mount 'em for $10 each--

6 tires mounted & the governor paid, $2173. I've found fairly similar prices at other places, but nobody else is close to the $10 mounting price..

As for ride-- we'll see. I really don't think the driving-over-cinderblocks ride I have now can be hurt much...

I put some Hankooks on my pickup truck, 2-1/2 years / 10,000 miles ago, and they look like new, I absolutely love them!

===============

But, they don't come in the size I need for $200 each I'm afraid...
