We really need more info.. Is one of the adapters bad. Check the breakers at the power pedestal.. Always check the breakers at the pedestal as they should be turned off when plugging or unplugging..

Have you tried more than one 30 amp outlet? Tried a 50 amp?

I will assume that you're using your shore cord 50amp and an adapter to 30amp and another adapter for 15amp. I'll assume that the pedestal you're plugging into has both 30amp and 15amp outlets. (possibly a 50amp as well)

The 50amp shore cord has 2 hots (L1 and L2) available to it. The 30amp adapter when connected to the shore cord only uses 1 hot. (L1). The 15amp adapter only uses 1 hot (L1). Therefore, since the 15amp adapter is last in line and it's working ok when plugged into the 15amp pedestal outlet, then all is well with your adapters. As Petes Dad mentions above, when you remove the 15amp adapter and attempt to use the 30amp pedestal outlet I suspect the 30amp outlet you're connecting to is bad.

Basically 2 ideas.

1: 50-30 adapter is defective
2a: 30 amp outlet is defective
2B: 30 amp outlet is 240 volt and your surge guard is working as designed and protecting your RV from a S.U.E.

Suggestion:
Voltmeter the 30 amp outlet and if that shows 120 volts voltmeter the outlet on the 50-30 dogbone, center flat to either side should show 120 volt, if you get a zero, you found the problem.

If you are using one of those 30/20 split adapters that the 50 amp plugs into, both sides of the adapter have to be plugged in for it to work.

I second this thought! Make sure you check if the 30amp outlet circuit breaker is not tripped.

This advice sounds like it is very correct

If you plug in a PI EMS, it will tell you what is wrong.
